  • New Repair Material

At a recent trade show I attended I came across a very cool new repair material. It is a sort of plastic with a very strong adhesive backing. When it is heated it because extremely flexible and can be formed to any complex shape to patch, repair, or put together pipes. When it cools down it becomes a hard plastic again. Since then I've used it to fix plumbing, leaks, pipes, a crack in my lawn-mowers case around the engine (would have cost $100+ to replace), broken handles, a hole in my canoe, re-attach my rear view mirror, and some minor body work on my truck. You can buy a little emergency kit that comes with its own one time heater but I just buy the patches without the kit, stick 'em in a bag, and put them in boiling water. I have saved an INCREDIBLE amount of money with this stuff for around the house repairs. The website is Rec'Repair Hope this helps with any repairs any of you guys may have
