Hello!...I'm looking to change the toilet flapper on my American Standard toilet, but do not know which flapper to get because I don't know the model name...I've tried using random flappers purchased at Lowes, but the still leak...So, I'm thinking I had better get the correct one...Any ideas on how to find the model name?

Depending on the model am std toilets would use the following
Korky #2001BP
Korky #2004BP
Korky #422BP
Korky #423BP
Later models with the large flush valve such as the Champion and Cadet III would take other parts.I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Now I can Plumb!
