Hi everyone,
I’m dealing with a leaky pipe under my kitchen sink and could use some advice. The leak is coming from the joint where the drain pipe connects to the sink. I've tried tightening the connection, but it doesn’t seem to help.
Here are a few details:
I’m wondering if there’s a specific type of sealant or method I should use to fix this issue. Should I replace the joint entirely, or is there a way to stop the leak without doing that?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Here are a few details:
- The leak is continuous but not gushing.
- The pipe and fittings are PVC.
- I’ve tried using plumber's tape on the threads, but the leak persists.
