Dart Board Back

What can I use for a dart board back to protect a finished wall?

I know they sell some but they are pricey.

I found some cork at target but it is only 1/4" thick so the dart goes right through.

My thought were...

Bulliten board
or
sheetrock with the cork I bought over that.

I want it to look good too.

there's a product called HOMOSOTE. It is basically compressed cardboard and is a type of insulation board. I used to use it for making model train base board. I made all my trackage with nickel silver track and the mini spikes I used went right into the homosote.

Not available at Home Depot or Menards and not 1 person had any idea what I was talking about. No Lowes have it in my area either.
