  • Hole in Basement Wall

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this or not, hopefully it is.

I have a hole in my basement wall. It appears that they were originally going to run the water line there and then changed their mind. They patched it, but not well. I am wondering what the best way to patch this hole is? I don't want it to leak water in. I thought I may have to go from the outside. The hole has PVC piping in it. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

Remove the plastic pipe and use hydraulic cement, it expands when it dries instead of shrinking like mortar mix
