We are thinking of painting our very outdated hearth, and would love some suggestions. I've seen plenty of discussions about painting fireplace hearths but not woodstove hearths..has anyone done this? My biggest question is should we (or is there) use a paint that would be heat resistant? I'm also undecided about whether or not we should paint the brick on the floor and directly underneath the stove...or leave it the way it is and just paint the brick on the wall? It seems that if we paint all of it the black stove would really stick out. Any input would be great, Thanks!
