Stains on driveway

I had a new asphalt driveway installed a few weeks ago. It seems like anything that touches it leaves a stain. I've been keeping a hose laying on it because I'm watering the new grass surrounding the drive, and I noticed that even the hose is leaving stains. Kind of light brownish, like dirt stains - except they don't wash off...we had a heavy downpour last night and even that didn't wash them away. I'll post a pic if you want to have a look (too dark to do it right now). Any ideas what's going on?

use the best cleaner..
ask for the green thick stuff
