Here is my solution to a dark garage where I was stumbling around to find the door or the light switch. I added four round windows that are about 4 inch diameter fitting into a less than 3 inch diameter hole cut with a circle cutter.
The first test was a set of 4 windows that gives walk-around light during the day. I later added 4 more as it looked better. I decided that this was an easy and safe solution after hearing how burglars push in the typical garage windows with a concrete block, then reach in and pull the release cord to open the door and access the whole house. This small window hole does not allow a reach-in however I removed the release cord as a precaution. (how often do I need it anyway?) I decided to sell these windows as others may have interest so I made a website.
