    Sunlight on STB

    Genie screw drive H6000

    Safe-T-Beam Green light is on OK
    Red light - 3 flashes

    But, if I shield the red light box from the sun,
    the door closes ok.

    Anyone know of somekind of sun shield for the box?

      Sunlight..use thick piece of paper

      I have the same issue. I just took a thick piece of paper and wrapped it around the sensor once and taped it in place. It stuck out about 3 inches from the sensor and works fine.

          use a piece of a toilet roll card board. tape it in place.
