Marantec ML4500 Problem

I pressed the P button and it shows that the RPM Sensor was defective. I replaced the RPM Sensor and I'm still having the same problem when the door opens. I keep getting an error message that shows there is an obstruction (Code 6). The light flashes and the the #6 flashes. I released the door and pressed the close button. When the belt finishes moving to the up position I do not get the error message or flashing lights. Once I engaged the door I got the same error message. I tried changing the UP FORCE to multiple settings but keep getting the same error message. It's getting really frustrating.

When you open the door with the opener and release it, how far will it drop back down? Be careful as it can slam shut if way out of balance and oh yes check your springs before you do so, you can have a broken spring.
