My Chamberlain CG40 1/2 HP opener will not bring the garage door down. The
safety sensors are aligned and working. I have disconnected the operating switch at the unit with no change. I have removed the chain to eliminate
any chance of door bind. I have moved both up & down pressure pots through
complete travel - no change. Moved up limit switch and unit will run in the up direction until it contacts this switch at new setting. Appears to me that motor is not is not being reversed when full up travel is complete. Also, led
on rear of unit flashes 5 times when unit is energized. RPM sensor? Any suggestions?
