integrated garage door opener

How do you de-program an integrated garage door opener in a vehicle? This is a car that I own and am about to sell, and I don't want the new owner to be able to open our garage door, for obvious reasons.

Would it be possible to reset the frequency for the opener, as well as the two remotes we own?

check you car manual for setting a diff frequency.

If you have the "Homelink" system (like in Lexus, BMW etc...) then push and hold the left and right buttons on your visa controls) you will see the light blink three times, this means it's cleared the remembered settings.
Make sure you check with your owners manual, some systems give different light blinks for different meanings.
