Genie intellicode only closes a foot

When holding down the wall button, my screw drive Genie intellicode will go forward only a foot or so, then reverse all the way to the back cut off swith on the rail. I can't get it to go forward/close any farther. I have replaced and get a solid red light on the electric eye sensors. The closing force nob has no effect. Ideas anyone? Thanks.

Check the photot eye wiring by using some short wires and manipulating them up by the motor. You can also disconnect the wall button to make sure it is not bad, and also check the limits, to make sure that they do not have a closed circuit or very nearly a closed circuit that can vibrate causing it to think it is closed.

Also check for interference from other operators you may have. If you have two motors the reds or greens should be in the center and the other color on the outside walls.
