    try your wiring on a car battery. if there's a problem either in the wiring or a fixture you'll know it! the lamps don't care what voltage they encounter be it a.c. or d.c.
    you mention a custom system. who made it?

      Not sure I understand the battery suggestion. What do I do? I know the fixture works...on another good line. Must be the wiring. How do I check?
