Does pineneedle/hard wood mulch provent termite?
I heard that nut not sure. So maybe I will spread it around my house.
Could you please tell me what is the function of pineneedle or mulch?
    Which one is better?

    Thanks.

Pine needle mulch can be a good choice if you're concerned about termites. Unlike hardwood mulch, pine needles decompose more slowly and are less likely to attract termites because they don't provide the cellulose that termites love. Pine needle mulch also offers benefits like weed control, moisture retention, and soil insulation, making it a practical option for many gardens.

On the other hand, hardwood mulch, while excellent for adding organic matter and improving soil structure, can attract termites due to its rich cellulose content. If termites are a significant concern, it's a good idea to keep mulch away from your home’s foundation and to monitor for any signs of pests. Overall, using pine needle mulch might offer a bit more peace of mind in terms of termite prevention.
