Renting and need to spruce up lawn

We're renting and about to move in about 2 mos. What would be the best thing to do in TX for the lawn to make sure it looks its best before we move out? We're hoping to get our full deposit back and the lawn maintenance is part of our responsibility - I think we need weed and feed in part of the yard - Its too late for a pre-emergent, we already have weeds popping up (dandelions, etc.)

Never too late just might take more time. Call a company to come out and do it then you don't have to worry wile trying to move as well. Plus they guarantee the work!
