I am planning to re-side my home with cedar shingles on three walls, and cedar bevel siding on the front. I would like to apply factory-stained (dipped) shingles, and then apply the same stain myself to the bevel siding. I am leaning toward Sikkens SRD stain, but haven't decided. Has anyone here used that product on cedar shingles or siding? Other recommendations?
