Patio furniture paint help

My patio furniture looks like brown iron, I think it needs to be painted. It's a well known fact that patio furniture requires a lot of maintenance for they are exposed to all kinds of elements such as weather conditions. Just wondering what's the best pain to use? If you know about any method of restoring outdoor furnishings in a way that should keep them looking fresh, please let me know.

if you have access to sand blasting equipment remove all traces of rust and paint. otherwise use a cup and flat wire wheel. prime with a product called "cold galvanize" then finish with a two part epoxy spray paint.
