Hi.
I have a house built in the 1920s on a pier and beam foundation. I recently hired a company to level the house and replace the piers below.
Although I did the research as best as I could, I am not at all happy with this company. They seem to have just basically shoved concrete blocks on top of the existing rotting wood piers in some places.
They are returning tomorrow to do what I tell them to do, and one question I have is how far apart the piers should be. There is one section of perimeter wall that is about 15 feet long with no piers. Does anyone know how far apart they should be?
Thanks
