I just checked my log file area and I have close to 1100 .log files. This is just taking up hard drive space that could be used for something else. Is it ok to delete these files.

Some log files are important and should be kept. Where did you find them?
I like http://www.ccleaner.com/ for removing unneeded files. http://www.ccleaner.com/download/ is a download link. Be careful, it can remove saved passwords and stuff you may want, so make sure you read what is checked!Last edited by Troy; 10-23-2006, 09:57 PM.Tr

I used the little search guy and just typed in a wildcard dot log. it searched out the entire c drive.Comment

ones that I know are just taking up space like hs_pid error I deleted. Info log files I got rid of. I got ccleaner. my next project is to repair the silver foil on my keyboard. one letter doesn't want to type up c letter.Comment
