I have hp lap tp and its not working. Please advise

A little more information might have helped to better understand your issue. But here are somethings you can do, first check if it's properly plugged in and the power adapter is connected. Try a different outlet or adapter if you have one. If that doesn’t help, remove the battery (if it’s removable), unplug the power, hold the power button for 15-30 seconds to reset it, then reconnect everything and try turning it on again. Make sure your screen brightness is up and see if it works with an external monitor.
