This is to all you building inspectors: Thank you. We were kind of grousing about having to remove all the walls that comprised the bathroom and bedroom in the basement of a newly purchased older home. A lengthy list of code violations. Groused a lot at first, less as the job progressed and have now personally thanked that particular inspector for saving the family's health. A lot of wet wood and mold that would not have otherwise been found was eliminated. Electrical issues, too, now fixed for my people's safety. So....us homeowners may grouse about you people, but from me and my family....thank you.
