  • Combination Solar Energy & underfloor heating with copper Pipes

I would really like to know if anyone has successfully installed under-floor copper tubing and run water heated by solar energy. If so, please offer any advice. If not, inventors out there - Please. What are the pro's and con's to this.

Thank you. Please explain what a pex is. And I have never heard of underfloor factory radiators in this country (South Africa), I will be happy to be proved wrong.

look towards "state-side" plumbing suppliers for PEX plastic piping. PEX also uses "shark-bite" connectors and either screw into the PEX or are crimped to the line. An aluminum preformed channel encloses and holds the PEX line. the channel is nailed or screwed to the underfloor sheathing.
