  • Facade Brick

I am in need of brick for my house both interiorly and exteriorly. I saw thin brick somewhere but cannot remember where. I don't know what it's called or where i can get it. It also comes in a stone like look. Any help is welcome.
    Thanks,
    Mary

Sounds like what you're looking for is 'panel brick'. Key that in on your browser and you'll get several manufacturers. I'm searching that out now for our next major home project.

      I think it's called "Z-Brick"

There are different makers of this brick. We used it on our front porch but we didn't use zbrick. I don't remember the brand, but we had problems with ours. The outside corners cracked where the corner bircks wrap around the corner. All we can figure is the new porch settled and the brick wasn't able to settle with it. If I did it again, I don't think I would use the corner pieces.

We're getting ready to do the outside of the house addition in a neat panel brick format. I found this place searching for panel brick and sent them and e-mail. Very quick response and willing to work with me about the uniqueness of what we have. What I really like about it is that it comes in two variations. One of coarse is where the brick is already attached to the substrate. The second, which I prefer, is where you secure the substrate to your house and then install the thin brick. Since the original part of the house has a rather random spacing on the vertical joints, this will play into my hands quite nicely. My wife and I plan to match it all up. I received an installation video and three smaples of the brick. I'd give the name of a few of these places if it's okay with this forum....

Hi, Mary. The company I'm working closely with is Brick-it. (www.brickit.com). But for more info, try a Google or Yahoo search for 'panel brick'.
