Fixing scratches in marble stove base

I have a black marble base under my freestanding propane stove. I have some scratches and abrasions, some are deep, that I would like to fill with someting to make the surface look better. Any ideas?

Scratches will be hard to match. Maybe using varying grits of abrasive paper or buffing pads and rouge will deepen those scratches to where they mimic the base rock. Trying fillers will be hit or miss and won't come out the way you want. Au naturale is the way togo. Good Luck!
