I'm remodeling our bathroom and have installed a new 2pc fiberglass tub and surround. I was wanting opinions on the best way to anchor the shower door framing to the fiberglass tub surround. I didn't think about adding additional framing before I installed the unit. There's nothing behind it except the wall framing. Would toggle bolts be sufficient?

Roger,
You hopefully have found a solution by now, but here are my thoughts... There are a bunch of fasteners available, here are a few:
The one you mention (toggle) is the top one in the photo, I would recommend anything but for the reason that if you ever take the bolt out you lose the toggle into the wall cavity, most of the others crimp the wall surface and stay put. I would use the second down from the top, I found that it provides the most stable attachment because it really expands as you tighten it and works well. The third on down does not tend to stand up well with movement like you would experience with a door, I think it would tend to enlarge the hole over time and become loose.
Hope this helps, Jim
