I just moved into a rental with a Hunter Energy Moniter II thermostat. The house was built in 1968, but I'm not sure if this is the original thermostat. Nonetheless, we're cold. We have reset the thing, set it for 72 degrees and the room will NOT get warmer than 62! If it needs a battery, I can't see where (remove screws to reveal?). Yes, it's that old! There's a newer Hunter in another zone, but it's newer (I can see the batteries! :-). And it works!!! Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
