Got fed up tonight. Purchased some surge protectosr that replace the outlet face plates. The first one had a long center screw and all went well. Opened the second box and found the center screw missing. Also the phone cord was missing from the package. Dang. And yet ANOTHER time I failed to check the shelf merchandise before purchase. A few weeks ago I picked up a roll of plumbing solder. Noticed at the start of the job that about 3/4 of the first winding level was used! About a month ago I picked up a length of 1" copper. Layed that next to a couple pieces already near the project and found about 14" was removed.

I'm done. Thanks.
