An old water well was discovered in a house I have under contract. It is in the crawl space under the dining room. I have been getting mixed advice. Some "experts" say no big deal, just cap it or use it to irrigate the lawn. Others have said walk away from the property. Closing is scheduled in 2 weeks. Has anyone ever heard of this situation?
