I am finishing off my bonus room and am installing the framing for the ceiling. Since it is a bonus room the ceiling and the slope of the roof rafters meet at an angle rather than the typical 90 degrees of a normal ceiling.
I am nailing a single 2x4 to the sides of the roof rafters on either side of the house since the span is less than 4'.
I am finding it rather tedious to try to hold the board, get it at the same height as the one beside it, drive the nail while keeping it level. Can someone offer a tip to simplify the process and hopefuly speed up my process?
How accurate do I need to get each and every board? I don't want to have to shim every joist when installing the drywall.
Thanks
