  • skylight problem

I'm on the top floor of a condo building and I think there's a problem with the skylight in the vaulted ceiling in my dining room. This is our first home owning experience and we've been here for 6 months, but the building is 30 years old. 2 days ago the HOA had someone on the roof cleaning/leaf blowing. When I got home that day there were pine needles and dirt all over the dining room table and surrounding area. It appears that it came in through the skylight, although I don't see any obvious cracks/damage. We live in the greater Seattle area and we get lots of rain (several inches just last night) but we don't ever seem to get any water damage. I don't understand how debris can get in but not water. How worried about this should I be?

the "curb" is channelled to keep out water - they probably used a leaf blower or compressed air and it just blew the debris inside.
