I checked the internet and found explanations for the obvious use of a carpenter's square. But there are many, many markings on the one I have. Where can I find explanations of these?

the square can be used to calculate steps , rafters for roof pitch and run, rafter ridge and bird's mouth cuts, you can even draw a circle with a square. -

Is that all a square can do? By the looks of the markings on one od mine, it could darn near pass for a slide rule!! I will check on that Blue Book.Comment
