  • GE top load washing machine acting up

Ok the model # GTW330ASK0WW has a very, very, very intermittent problem. About once a month I will come in and find the machine has the wash light on and is not moving on to the next cycle. It goes though the wash cycle in regards to the swishing back and forth then it drains and that's it. No rinse or spin cycle. The lid is locked at this point so I have to cancel the wash and if I do not unplug it for 30 min it will not function at all. After unplugging it and starting the cycle over the fill light comes on and the machine makes two really loud clunk sound then starts to fill and runs though all cycles just fine until the next time it decides to act up. Is this one of those models I can read codes out on? If so how? Past repairs are a new transmission, drive belt & shift actuator approx 1 yr ago.

Ok more drama from my machine as it now has a constant problem which is much better then an intermittent one!

Now the machine will not fill. Just puts in three quick shots of water then clicks. This is how its has always works but normally after it clicks it will fill the basket with water continually until its at the desired water level.
Error Codes - #5, #7, #12 & #21. Ran the test for code #5 & found shift motor open = straight forward repair with just needing to replace easy part.

Codes #7, 12 & 21 - Ran test on pressure sensor built into main board pins # 2(signal) & 3(ground) and while in pressure sensor self test mode to verify its reporting the correct level and got no reading at all while washer was filling up with water. Checked for voltage at pin #1 (pwr) on pressure sensor and found no voltage. Proper voltage is coming into washer to the board.
So does this mean I also need a new board? Is there something else I should check before condemning this board that could prevent the pressure senor getting its normal power feed? Can a failed shift motor take out a board???
