Frigidaire dishwasher shuts down

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher (aqua Surge) about 5 years old that is occasionally shutting down mid cycle with ER ou when we open the machine it is super hot. It has melted several plastics that were dishwasher safe even hot enough to deform the lower water arm. Obviously overheating I need help with what sensor should be replaced. I just replaced front panel controls 6 months ago.

I'm afraid that is not enough information to identify the appliance in question. What is needed is its exact model number as the forum instructions requested be supplied. If you post it we can at least look it up to see what appliance design you're dealing with.
