I have Frigidaire model (frt2lr7ab7) the ice maker just suddenly stopped working. It hasn't worked in almost two years I am ready to fix it. The line doesn't leak anywhere and refrigerator works fine, don't know if it is coming form the control or maybe the water line is clogged somewhere and not allowing the control to work . How do you test this control?

If the icemaker is not working *at all*, make sure the icemaker's shutoff arm is down and in the ON position. The freezer also must be below 0°F. (Ice freezes at 32°F so just things frozen in the freezer doesn't necessarily mean the freezer is the correct temperature).
Some models may have a switch behind the ice bucket. If the ice bucket is not properly in place or there is a problem with that switch, the icemaker will not function.
If the icemaker IS functioning (ie. 'going through the motions') but just not producing ice, the water fill tube through the rear of the cabinet may be frozen closed, there might be a problem with the water fill valve on the back of the fridge or there could be a problem inside the icemaker itself. There is also a chance that the icemaker power harness has just come loose from the socket in the refrigerator wall.

1. What is the actual model number of the fridge??
2. Is the icemaker functioning (ie. 'going through the motions') but just not filling??
