Maytag Gemini Gas Range upper oven won't shut off

After a short power outage, my Maytag Gemini Gas Range upper oven came back on (it was on at the time the power outage occured) and now I cannot shut it off from the panel. I have tried to reset the oven to its factory settings but it did not work. In order to turn it off I have to pull the braker which is very inconvenient (When I reengange the braker it comes back on automatically). Please give me some direction as to what can be happening and how to troubleshoot/fix it. Thanks a lot.

After a short power outage... I cannot shut [upper oven] off from the panel.

The power fluctuations may have damaged the electronic control or separate power relay board (if a separate component on whichever model range you have).

Electronic controls are very prone to power surges and frequently need to be replaced after such an occurrence.
