Hello, I have a Badger 5 garbage disposal. Recently, I noticed the floor of my kitchen was wet and found out that the disposal is leaking. It is leaking from the bottom of the disposal, from what I think is some sort of plate that is screwed in. Is there any reason for this or does anyone know how to fix it? Thank you!

if the leak isn't coming from the 1.5 inch out pipe or the 5/8 inch dishwasher in pipe, it's an internal leak. That means the disposal is defective. The only choice is to replace it.
