Sauter stove

Hi,

Our old built-in Sauter multi-system oven shorts out at 230 F. Any idea what could be the problem?

Can't find any additional model info written on it, hope it's enough.

on the back of the unit there must be an access flap that encloses the wiring connections to the elements. shut off and unplug the unit and remove the flap carefully. now examine closely where the wires go into a plug/receptacle. my guess is as the unit heats up it expands and shorts out one or two connections. the calrod element is a tubular element with a connection on each end.
