Maytag Gemini MER6875BAS Model - Error Code 3.0

I have a Maytag Gemini MER6875BAS Model range with an Error Code 3.0 - I have googled and looked at every manual I can find and this error code is no where to be found.

This error code shows up in the clock. The oven or range top are not working although there is power based on the clock working. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does it actually say "Error Code"??

Fault codes on that model should display with a preceeding F. eg F1-5, F3-2.
Diagnostic codes should be 4 digits long, eg. 1c1c, 9d12, etc.

What you're seeing displayed might be the software version of the control or some other manufacturer information and not an actual fault code.

What transpired with the range previous to that display?

another thing that might be a contributing factor is the led readout itself. the readout is made up of what is called a 7 segment led. each "line" is lit by one wire off an led driver circuit. if a display line is out, the led driver may be at fault or the display "line" may be burnt out.
