am looking for circuit breaker size for ge jb640srss cook stove.
The 'quick specs' for your range model says "Breaker Size 40 Amps† †Note: Check local codes for required breaker size."

    JFYI

      Range Breaker

"Quick Specs" say use a 40 amp breaker for a 10.5 Kw range BUT
if you calculate it out 10,500 divided by 240 equals 43.75 amps -- more than a double 40 will hold.
Pigtails for ranges are four wire, 50 amp. Hard wired - don't matter watts is watts.
Go with a #6-4 cable and use a 50 amp two pole breaker.
If your contractor wired it with No 10 he ought to go back to school.
any range a minimum of 6-4 copper.
Jenn-air are usually rated higher - say, 60 amp two pole.
