Hello, we purchased a frigidaire French door fridge; if I push the freezer door shut it shuts then pops open a little and caused the seal to come undone. Is this normal and I just need to close it gently?

I wouldn't think it should pop open. The drawer may be binding on something.
If it is brand new, call for warranty service and let them look into it for you.
