My drier just recently messed up. The heating element works fine, but the motor doesn't work at all not even any noise. You can turn the motor by hand freely when it turns the tumblers turns so the belt should be fine. Does somebody have any suggestions.

It looks like motor is replaced as an assembly including cap or starter. So if power is there and connections are not corroded then I think new motor...about 80 to 100 bucks.
