    Help!

I just moved into a new place. There's an older Kenmore oven with no manual...my father turned the time knob to set the correct time, and the annoying buzzer won't shut off! I tried to disingage the on off knobs but it doesn't seem to work. I've opened up the panel and am watching the little wheels continue to turn...oh ya, and since i've been messing around the oven won't heat up past 200f. Am I screwed?

Could you tell us more about the oven?
    Model #, age?

You can disconnect the wire going to the buzzer.

Your temp problem could be a number of things.

If the oven will not exceed a temp of about 200 degrees, a control selection, setting and or option, may be set to a cycle called "Keep Warm". Or that cycle may be called "Auto". Or any such term other than manual. If there is a setting called manual, put the selection control in that position. Oven should than heat to t-stat temp set.
