Front Loader Washer not draining

I have a Fridgidaire Gallery Front loading washing machine. After it has completed its cycle the clothes are wet and there is still water in the machine. I've tried running just the spin cycle and taking the clothes out completely to drain it. Nothing seems to be working! Any suggestions?

The machine won't be able to spin if all the water isn't draining out of the tub. I suggest you concentrate your efforts in that area.

Possibilities for not draining include the pump or connecting hoses plugged, the external washer drain hose kinked, the pump impeller defective or the pump's motor cutting out prematurely (ie. defective).
