We just installed a new Kenmore dishwasher quiet series 300. We've noticed that after running the machine, the door is dirty and the bottom of the dishwashed under the door isn't clean. Kind of like the water isn't hitting the door enough. I've checked the level and it looks pretty good. Water isn't pooling in the bottom either. Any suggestions? Should we maybe tilt the dishwasher forward or back a little?

Absolutely do not tilt the dishwasher, they must be level to work correctly.
There are two principle causes of the problem you are having.
The leading cause of improper cleaning or rinsing is overloading or improperly loading the dishes. Chech your owners manual carefully as not all dishwashers are loaded the same, and what may work great in one will cause serious problems in another.
The second leading cause is a moving spray arm that is not moving correctly during the wash cycle. If your machine has rotating spray arms, check to make sure that they will swing freely. Most of the rotating spray arms have two or three nozzles on the very end that serve as propulsion jets to swing the arm during operation. Make sure those little spray ports are not obstructed.
Some dishwashers have a colapsing telescopic nozzle in the bottom center of the machine that is extened up through the lower basket by water pressure during the wash or rinse cycle. Make sure there are no dishes stacked in the center of the basket that would prevent it from fully extending upwards.
