My fridge compressor is locked up - won't rotate and the thermal overload is kicking out. Can any body help me as to what can be done to solve the probleam?

If the compressor is seized, it (the compressor) would usually need to be replaced. Often when that is necessary, just replacing the whole fridge is more cost effective.
BTW. The overload protector can 'kick out' for other problems besides just a seized compressor. How do you know it is 'locked up'?
