Kenmore Dishwasher Noisy

My Kenmore Ultra Wash III is making a loud roaring/grinding noise during the washing cycle. Is it fatal?

I'm just curious. Does it make the same sounds with every run?? Or does it seem to change? Does everything seem to work OK? Does it seem to clean the dishes OK? Does all the soap in the dispenser dissolve??

After further investigation, I have decided to just replace the machine. Thank you for trying to help, however. I really appreciate it.
