Please help. I had a plate shatter and its in the disposal. How in the world can I ever fix this? If anyone can help please do. Thank you. Its tiny slivers of glass at that.

You could remove the disposal by twisting the locking ring anticlockwise and then invert the disposal to empty out the glass.
OR
as I'd do, turn on the water and turn on the disposal let it grind it up and send it on it's way.
This last option may not be the ideal option but if your afraid to tackle removing the disposal then it will do the job on glass slivers.

Disposal glass....
I don;t think grinding the galss up would harm the diposal unit. But if you would prefer to get the stuff out, use a vacuum to suck them out. Just make sure no one's near that switch!!Comment
