I have a GE side by side refrigerator that is keeping the compartment drawers cool but the shelves up top are warm. If it sits overnight the top shelf will be slightly cool, but after opening the door periodically during the day, it becomes warm. The freezer seems to be working fine. We did turn down the freezer temp but I have not seen a difference since on the fridge side. I took off the cardboard panel in the back and vacuumed the dust out. About a month ago we had a leak on the freezer side where the water pipe is for the ice maker. I have since turned off the water. The cooling problem started about 4 days ago. The fan is running, but sometimes the refrigerator is silent. Any thoughts?

There is also a link there to tips for where to located the model number identification tag *on the appliance*. The model number should *NOT* just be taken from the owner's manual, etc. as it is rarely listed in its entirety on such documents.
It is keeping the [food] compartment drawers cool but the shelves up top are warm.
