Gas dryer intermittently doesn't work

I am trying to fix a Roper model# RGX5634KQ2 gas dryer for my neighbor. Sometimes it will heat up and sometimes it wont. I have cleaned out the lint trap and vent but it wasn't too bad to begin with. I checked both thermistors and they had continuity. Could the ignitor be partially bad? Or what else could cause this intermittent problem?

I've never known an ignitor to be intermittent but the gas valve's coils (see the following link) are famous for acting that way.
